Preparation Stage
- Prepare the workspace and the specific area where the grout will be applied.
- Set up markers or formwork to ensure precision and level results.
- Thoroughly clean the substrate. Ensure it is free from debris, dust, and oil, as these can significantly weaken the adhesion.
- Dampen the surface with clean water before application to ensure optimal bonding.
Mixing Stage
- Pour approximately 7 liters of clean water into a mixing container for every bag of ECO-800.
- Gradually add the ECO-800 Grouting powder into the water.
- Stir the mixture until it reaches a smooth and consistent texture. Using a hand mixer (electric) is recommended for a lump-free result.
Application Stage
- Apply the mixture by pouring it into the target area as per standard grouting practices.
- If necessary, provide air vents or “bleeder holes” to allow trapped air to escape while ECO-800 is being poured, ensuring a solid, void-free fill.
