Description
Preparation Stage
- Prepare the workspace, ensure the work area and the application surface are ready.
- Clean the surface, remove any debris, dust, moss, or oil from the substrate, as these can weaken the product’s adhesion.
- Pre-wettin, if the surface is too dry, lightly dampen it with water before application.
Mixing Stage
- Pour ±13.5 liters of clean water into a mixing bucket for every bag of ECO-200 Grey Skim Coat

Gradually add the ECO-200 powder into the water.

Stir the mixture until it reaches a smooth, lump-free consistency. For best results, using an electric mixer is highly recommended.
Application Stage
- Apply the mixture manually as per standard practice, then level and smooth it using a flat trowel or a straightedge,
- The ideal thickness is ± 1.5mm, depending on the flatness of the substrate (maximum thickness of 3mm).
- One of the advantages of ECO-200 is that it does not require sanding or rubbing with cement bags or sandpaper to achieve a smooth finish.
