ECO 250 – Grey Skimcoat for Plaster

Preparation Stage

• Prepare the workspace and the specific plaster surface to be skimmed.

• Thoroughly clean the substrate. Ensure it is free from debris, dust, moss, and oil, as these can significantly weaken the adhesion of the mixture.

Mixing Stage

• Pour approximately 12 – 18 liters of clean water into a mixing bucket for every bag of ECO-250 Skim Coat.

•  Gradually add the ECO-250 powder into the water.

• Stir the mixture until it reaches a smooth and consistent texture. Using an electric hand mixer is highly recommended for a lump-free finish.

Application Stage

• Apply the skim coat manually as per standard practices. Level the surface using a flat trowel or an aluminum straightedge.

• The ideal thickness is ± 1.5 mm, depending on the flatness of the substrate (maximum thickness: 3 mm).

• There is no need to rub the surface with cement paper, sandpaper, or similar materials. The formula is designed to achieve a smooth finish naturally.
